my Scooter Libby bet: Cassandra has spoken

I'll bet you that Scooter gets off.
The trial is fine entertainment for people who are paying attention, all right.
But it's just entertainment.
Passin' time.
You see, the jury has been chosen.
And the composition of this jury says it all.

First, anybody who disbelieves the Bush/Cheney Crime Family was excused.
And there are some what I would call 'ringers' on the jury.
For a case like this you choose a couple of jurors who are intelligent, but who don't admit they hate, detest, Deadeye Dick and Dubya, and won't say they wouldn't believe Mr. Cheney even if he was wearing a polished titanium halo and carrying an autographed Gutenberg Bible to swear his testimony upon.

Intelligent people ALWAYS hold a space within themselves for "reasonable doubt."
So, ipso facto, Scooter gets a hung jury.

And NO one is blamed for dragging us into an expensive privatized war with 3,000 idolized soldier deaths and 650,000 collateral damage innocent invaded Iraqi deaths on the basis of a lie that treasonously exposed, at risk of DEATH of an undercover company of covert agents who worked steadily and nonpolitically and loyally FOR the United States of what was at one time America.
The Federal Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has been the brightest hope and biggest disapointment in this century for this once sleeping American citizen. Just another political hack, political pawn of the Chess Player Rove.

Update:
Just heard Jack Lessenberry interview John Conyers concerning impeachment.
Excuses, excuses, excuses.
Playing the DLC version of "playing out the clock."
Seems like "both sides of the coin" are using the same strategy.
They call it playing out the clock, I call it circling the drain.
