NPR:
Steve reads salient quote: "do N. Koreans really believe this B.S. being shoved down their throat?" (You're serious, right? At least I woke up with a laugh this morning. I suppose we can look at this as an absurd form of entertainment...)Hey, Steve, why don't you do any Korean interviews with the Bush Family business partner-benefactor, Reverend Moon? There has been nothing but B.S. stufed down our throat about Korea since Monday morning.
N.Korea: The landscape is gray, the people are poor, Steve's voice is monotone. (Sanctions since 1948, the devastation of war followed by no Marshall Plan, might be a clue, Steve.)
N.Korea: No billboards for cameras and cars, but propaganda billboards. (See above)
The leaders keep the public in constant fear of war. (the "American War" what we call the Korean War, was in 1950, see above. BTW, how long will our continuous war economy last?)
BBC:
The British Army chief general was right, before the forces of the new political correctness set in. "Political correctness" has been revised. It now means a conservative revision of the bloody truth to fantasy propaganda about such issues as "winning" wars.
Plane crashes into NY building, no one cares?
Way down in the only article I cared to read was this paragraph. No mention of biological agents homeland security.
"The crash prompted renewed calls for the government to restrict the airspace around Manhattan to help ensure planes cannot get so close to the city's skyscrapers. Much of the airspace over two of the main rivers that encircle Manhattan is open to small aircraft flying under 1,100 feet."
NPR:
College students are waking up?
Galudet college students organize and shut down the campus.
They want to choose their own university president.
More navel gazing. Fiddling while Rome burns.
BBC:
I'm shocked that Chavez might try to use his oil money to influence an election in a neighboring country. Shocked! Shocked!
