Dubya signs Military Commissions Act of 2006 and Newspeak

But on NPR news just now, they called it the Terrorist Detainee Bill. Google both, you'll see. Is this the same bill? The one that usurps the Bill of Rights to the Constitution of the good ole USA so Big Brother can kidnap, rape, and torture, and even kill, and hide the 'corpus' at his leisure? without having to worry about pesky laws and rights and such?
This Newspeak is driving me crazy. I'm not on the Luntz-speak Official Buzzword of the Week e-list, so I don't get the latest revision of official language, but couldn't we all get on the same page?

Or is this a NEW language which will NECESSITATE that English Only Bill?

Remember when all the pundits were mimicking Dubya's use of the word 'Fabulous', made my tummy ache. And how many times have you heard the catpulting plops of 'Consequences' lately, just to remind you of who is the paternal father, here.
