Isn't it an interesting coincidence that Bush trots out his "September 11th hijacking mastermind" prisoner on the same day that Bin Laden hands out his summer rerun video flick of his greatest hits...
These guys work in tandem. I don't like either one of them.
Spoiled Rich Kids. Others have always cleaned up their messes.
Controlling but careless. Playing soldier with real men and WMDs.
Propagandists. Fear-mongers. With whole governments at their disposal.
Catapulting their shit in perfect tempo.
Which has done me more harm?
Which has "neither picked my pocket nor broken my leg"?
Neither is blameless.
The Bush and Bin Laden families have a long history of friendship. You can look it up if you're interested. That is no coincidence.
They were business partners. And it's all about business.
Whose father was killed in a plane accident in Texas?
Why would you love a business partner enough to give him your name, Bandar Bush?
Who was at the meeting of the Carlysle Group at the Mayflower in NYC when the planes struck the Twin Towers?
Whose family were the only people allowed to fly in the days of grounded flights after the planes hit the towers?
What MidEastern people were given free passes to leave the country without even being questioned by the FBI after the planes hit the towers?
Who smoked cigars with Bush on the balcony of the White House when Bush came back after September 11?
Why did Bush move our troops out of Saudi Arabia into Kuwait, which is what Bin Laden demanded in his fatwah?
Why didn't Bush order the Army to go into Tora Bora to capture Bin Laden when the Army told him they had him pretty well trapped there?
Why did Bush say, 'I'm not really concerned with Bin Laden any more'?
Why did Bin Laden issue a fright movie (that helped Bush in the polls) right before the last election?
Who has changed this country from a constitutional democracy with a Bill of Rights to a fascist imperialist empire, all in five short years? Not Bin Laden.
But here I am, falling into the propaganda trap the terrorist and the terror-catapulting president have set for us today...
The problem today is not terrorism, any more than it was in 1992 or 1863 or ever. There will always be mass murderers and sociopaths around, including pirates, gangs, mobs, armies, you name the bad guys.
The Psyche of America is being focused on terrorism for the upcoming election. That is the only way Bush can win and keep leading this danse macabre.
May I suggest you get used to the idea that something bad may be in the closet or under the bed, but we still get up in the night for a glass of water?
My Fellow Americans, GET A GRIP!
The problems of America need our attention! Start with the Iraq war, the increasing poverty and the growing class gap, the health care system, media consolidation and its implications toward propaganda, the coming crisis in Social Security, Medicare, and all of our social safety nets, the horrendous energy crisis on the horizon, the educational system being undercut and dumbed down, the global warming nightmare and the privatization and pollution of the environment.
Nightmares of reality. We don't need to be spun like Alice by global maniacs.
So let's start here: Mr. Bush, WHY are we in Iraq, and WHEN are we pulling out?
President Bush was in the midst of explaining how the attacks of September 11 inspired his "freedom agenda" and our attack on Iraq until a reporter, Ken Herman of Cox News, interrupted to ask what Iraq had to do with 9/11.
