Sabra and Shatila massacre This story always hurts to think about - the Israeli soldiers guarded the camps from refugees ESCAPING, who were raped and massacred. They have become Nazis and we are complicit.
To be fair, Lebanon has a long history of being the sectarian battleground of the middle east - or at least the place where evil men do evil things with the tools of war. Read the links on the Sabra and Shatila page to see how screwed up Lebanon has been in the past, by all parties.
