Indigenous peoples have tribes, churches are tribes, the sports culture is tribalism, the military uses ideas from tribalism, and Iraq has, against all pundit wisdom (see today's conversation on Diane R.'s show), Iraq has returned to tribalism.

I want a tribe. The white bread average american shlub without a religion and with no interest in television idols, sport heroes, or politicians is wandering like Ishmael.

Damn the DLC. Givin' us the Clintons and Kerry and Lieberman.
Damn the Greens, votin' for Nader at just the hinge moment.
I can't blame the GOP, I expect criminals to be bad.
