When you're at the gas pump, think of George

He was once touted as a "Harvard MBA".
He was once sold to voters as a "Texas Oilman".
But do you think anyone is waking up to the fact yet, that you elected Fredo Corleone to the Presidency?

Bush on the Bass Channel or Fredo in the movie?:
"Every time I put the line down I would say a Hail Mary, and every time I said a Hail Mary, I would catch a fish."

Michael Corleone: "My father is no different than any other powerful man -- any man who's responsible for other people, like a senator or president."
KAY: "You know how naive you sound...senators and presidents don't have men killed."
MC: "Oh, who's being naive, Kay?"
Conservatives are floating Jeb's (Michael Corleone)name for 2008.)

Pay attention:

Bush Leverage With Russia, Iran, China Falls as Oil Prices Rise

Dollar starts the big slide against major currencies

And how stoopid is this -
GOP Plans $100 Gas Rebate
- the taxpayer (you) will mail you a check for a hundred dollars to help you buy gas? Since the government (you) is already borrowing money to cover overspending, isn't that just charging your gas to the future to pay later, with interest?

Call it GOP Armeggedon economics, I guess, just like their Apocalypse foreign policy and their Dominionist environmentalism, and their A-Check-in-Every-Faith-Based-Cronies-Pocket social policy.

That Texas Oilman sure didn't keep the price of barrel of oil from tripling (and more) under his watch, not counting all of that taxpayer money we're paying to the Pentagon and contractors Halliburton Bechtel and the rest to bully the countries who have our oil under their land.
